About Us
We're a New York-based AI startup reshaping how people learn languages. Our founder previously scaled a company to over $100M in revenue with a 100+ person team. Now, we're building an elite team to launch a new product that combines language learning and cutting-edge AI.

The Role
We’re looking for a UX-focused Product Designer to lead the design of our mobile experience. This isn’t just about making things look good — it's about building an app people want to use every single day. Your job is to make the experience so intuitive, rewarding, and habit-forming that users keep coming back.

This is a high-impact role for a designer who understands behavioral psychology, gamification, and what it takes to turn casual users into lifelong learners.

What You'll Do

  • Design the full user journey from onboarding to long-term engagement
  • Use behavioral psychology and motivation models to boost daily usage and retention
  • Create intuitive, engaging onboarding flows that increase activation
  • Use analytics, heatmaps, usability studies, and A/B testing to guide design decisions
  • Deliver wireframes, prototypes, and final UI in Figma
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to test, iterate, and launch
  • Stay ahead of best practices in habit-forming product design

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/Product Design
  • Proven track record designing engaging, sticky mobile products
  • Strong portfolio showing UX thinking and results (not just visuals)
  • Expert in Figma for design and prototyping
  • Deep understanding of behavioral design and user motivation
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments
  • Data-informed mindset with strong analytical thinking
  • Great communicator and team player

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with gamification and habit loops
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and behavioral analytics
  • Background in language learning, mobile apps, or edtech
  • Basic knowledge of front-end development for smooth collaboration

This is a fully remote position. We’re looking for someone who can own the product experience and help us shape a best-in-class mobile app from the ground up.

Ready to design something people will use every day? Apply now.
