UX/UI Desiger

The Role
We’re seeking a UX/UI Designer to join our design team. In this role, you’ll create intuitive, visually engaging experiences for one or more product teams. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and developers to solve user pain points, maintain consistency across products, and continuously enhance our SaaS platform.

What You’ll Do

• Design user experiences for complex product areas and collaborate with other designers to ensure cohesive design across all products.
• Partner with product managers and developers to define requirements, user goals, and explore innovative solutions.
• Work within 2-week sprint cycles to deliver iterative UX/UI improvements and new features.
• Advocate for users, reducing friction in workflows and creating a seamless, enjoyable experience.
• Contribute to research, prototyping, design execution, and documentation, sharing your process to improve team knowledge and consistency.
• Conduct user testing, develop personas, map workflows, and create research artifacts.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure correct implementation of designs and offer alternative solutions when needed.
• Contribute to our in-house Design System, helping define rules and maintain consistency.
• Maintain organized files and follow design system conventions.
• Uphold Capital Rx’s Code of Conduct and report any noncompliance.

What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a UI/UX or Product Designer.
• Experience designing Enterprise software, SaaS, or other complex/technical products preferred.
• Proficiency in Figma (other tools like XD or Sketch a plus). Willing to work exclusively in Figma.
• Basic user research experience (interviews, ideation, usability testing) or willingness to learn.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks.
• Proven ability to take designs from concept to delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in pharmacy benefits, medical claims, or health insurance, or ability to quickly learn regulated product areas.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Curiosity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to share work throughout the process and contribute to team decisions.
