Help shape digital services for a major European institution

European Dynamics is looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer to join a development team working closely with the IT organization of a major European institutional client.

This is a remote opportunity for professionals based within the EU and would suit a designer who is comfortable working at the intersection of UX, interface design and technology in a large, international environment.

Rather than focusing only on visual execution, you'll be responsible for understanding requirements and translating them into interfaces, workflows and specifications that development teams can implement.

What you'll be working on

You'll contribute to the design of digital experiences across web and mobile platforms, taking requirements from initial analysis through to detailed interface concepts.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing product and user-interface requirements before moving into design.
  • Defining page structures, graphical layouts and interface content.
  • Creating wireframes, workflow diagrams and visual design concepts.
  • Producing detailed UI specifications for websites, mobile web experiences and mobile/tablet applications.
  • Developing prototypes when needed to explore ideas and validate requirements.
  • Working alongside developers and the client's IT team to ensure proposed experiences can be implemented effectively.
  • Adapting your design approach as technologies, requirements and project needs evolve.

What they're looking for

This is an experienced-level position. Candidates should have a relevant university degree together with at least 8 years of professional IT experience.

You'll also need 5+ years of experience working with graphical interface design tools, web technologies or related standards.

European Dynamics is particularly looking for someone with a strong understanding of:

  • User interface design and human-computer interaction.
  • Usability and ergonomics.
  • Digital and graphical design tools.
  • Web technologies and standards, including HTML and XML.
  • Software design and development processes.
  • Designing interfaces that can translate effectively into working software.

Because you'll be operating within an international and multilingual environment, excellent English is required.

Working at European Dynamics

European Dynamics is an international software and ICT organization with more than 1,000 engineers, technology specialists and consultants. Its teams deliver technology projects for public institutions, multinational organizations, research bodies and other large clients.

For this position, you'll work remotely while becoming part of a team supporting a major European institution, collaborating with both European Dynamics and client-side technology professionals.

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications, with the possibility of either a contract arrangement or remuneration with a full benefits package.

Who could be a good fit?

This opportunity could be particularly interesting if you've spent several years designing complex digital products and enjoy working closely with technical teams rather than operating in a design-only environment.

A background involving enterprise software, public-sector digital services, complex web applications or large-scale institutional projects could translate particularly well to the role.

Candidates should submit their CV in English and reference ST/UXE/2026 when applying.

European Dynamics is an equal-opportunity employer and considers applicants without discrimination based on protected characteristics.
