Apex is looking for a UX/UI Designer to create high-converting digital experiences for eCommerce brands.

This role combines visual design, UX thinking and conversion optimization. You’ll work on landing pages and websites designed not only to look polished, but to help customers move through the shopping journey more effectively.

Apex is a conversion rate optimization agency working with more than 70 eCommerce brands, including Pink Friday Nails, The Pod Company, Nature’s Wild Berry and Tailored Athlete.

What you'll be designing

You’ll turn client briefs, business ideas and conversion goals into clear digital experiences.

Your work will include:

  • Designing conversion-focused landing pages and eCommerce websites
  • Creating wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes
  • Translating early concepts into polished UI
  • Applying UX and conversion principles to page structure and hierarchy
  • Preparing designs for developer handoff
  • Working with developers during implementation
  • Communicating with clients around feedback, revisions and project progress

What Apex is looking for

Strong Figma expertise is central to this position. You should be comfortable working with components, Auto Layout and prototyping while maintaining a high standard of visual design.

Apex is also looking for someone with:

  • Strong visual hierarchy and layout skills
  • A good eye for typography, spacing and composition
  • Understanding of UX and conversion-focused design principles
  • Ability to move from wireframes to finished interfaces
  • Experience collaborating with developers
  • Confidence communicating and iterating with clients

Experience with AI image generation and editing, branding or visual identity would be an additional advantage.

Why join Apex?

The role is fully remote with flexible asynchronous working hours.

Apex also offers:

  • Career development and promotion opportunities
  • Access to education, courses and professional tools
  • Experience working with established eCommerce brands
  • The opportunity to develop both UX/UI and conversion optimization skills

Portfolio required

Apex asks candidates to include a design portfolio with their application. For this role, work demonstrating landing pages, eCommerce experiences, strong UI craft or conversion-focused design would be particularly relevant.

This role specifically asks for advanced Figma skills

Apex expects designers to be confident with components, Auto Layout and prototyping, so stronger Figma workflows could be directly relevant when applying for roles like this.
