Base360 is looking for a UX/UI Product Designer to help build an AI-powered platform for running short-term rental businesses.
The product brings property management, reservations, guest communication, cleaning, maintenance and financial operations into a single system, with AI agents helping automate many of those workflows.
You'll work directly with founders and engineers to turn complex operational processes into experiences that feel simple, intuitive and visually polished.
What you'll be designing
This is a broad product role with influence across both the core SaaS platform and customer-facing experiences.
You'll work on areas including:
- Dashboards for managing properties and reservations.
- Guest communication workflows.
- Cleaning and maintenance operations.
- Financial management experiences.
- Direct booking journeys.
- Check-in, extensions and upsells.
- Onboarding and property setup.
- AI agent configuration and management.
- Design systems and reusable components.
- Landing pages and product marketing assets.
You'll have the opportunity to influence the experience from someone's first interaction with Base360 through to the operational tools they use every day.
Designing experiences around AI agents
A particularly important part of the role is figuring out how people interact with AI agents inside a real operational product.
You'll design experiences that help users:
- Configure AI agents.
- Understand what an agent is doing.
- Review automated actions and decisions.
- Maintain visibility over AI-driven workflows.
- Intervene when human input is required.
The challenge is to make automation feel useful and understandable without hiding information users need to remain in control.
What you'll do
You'll own design across the complete product development process, from identifying problems through to reviewing the final implementation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Researching how property operators and internal teams work.
- Identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Translating complex requirements into clear user journeys.
- Creating wireframes and interactive prototypes.
- Producing polished responsive interfaces.
- Testing ideas early and incorporating feedback.
- Designing for real-world data and edge cases.
- Working closely with engineers around technical constraints.
- Reviewing implementation quality.
- Improving experiences after they've been released.
- Using AI tools to accelerate exploration and production.
- Proactively identifying product problems and proposing solutions.
Base360 is looking for someone comfortable taking significant ownership rather than waiting for fully defined requirements.
What they're looking for
You'll need a portfolio that demonstrates both strong UX thinking and high-quality visual design.
Base360 is particularly interested in designers with:
- Experience designing SaaS products, dashboards or complex applications.
- Strong Figma skills.
- Experience with Auto Layout, components and design systems.
- Interactive prototyping skills.
- Strong typography, spacing and visual hierarchy.
- Understanding of responsive design.
- Ability to simplify complex information without removing important context.
- Experience collaborating directly with engineers.
- Experience taking designs through to production.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain and defend design decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence working when requirements are still evolving.
Experience in AI products, hospitality, short-term rentals, conversion optimization or frontend development would be an advantage but isn't listed as essential.
Build and scale the design system
As Base360 grows, you'll also help establish the components and interaction patterns that keep the product consistent.
Rather than designing each feature independently, you'll create reusable foundations that can support new dashboards, workflows and AI functionality as they're introduced.
That means thinking about design at both levels: solving the immediate user problem while creating patterns that can scale across the wider platform.
Working at Base360
This appears to be a high-ownership, early-stage environment rather than a highly structured corporate design position.
You'll work directly with the founders and engineers, have access to operational teams using the technology and be expected to take projects from discovery through delivery.
Base360 specifically emphasizes initiative, direct communication, ambition and the ability to make progress without waiting for every requirement to be defined.
As the company and design function expand, the role also offers the potential to take on broader responsibilities.
Strengthen your AI product design skills
This role goes beyond simply using AI to speed up design work. Base360 is looking for a designer who can help define how humans interact with AI agents — including configuring them, understanding their actions and knowing when to intervene.
