Help make healthcare easier to understand through great product writing
Solace is looking for a UX Writer to create clear, human-centered content that helps patients confidently navigate complex healthcare experiences.
Working closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers, you'll shape product experiences through thoughtful writing—from onboarding and navigation to workflows and notifications. At Solace, content is an essential part of the design process, helping users understand important decisions with clarity and confidence.
What you'll do
As a UX Writer, you'll help define the voice of the product while improving the overall user experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Writing clear, concise content for onboarding, navigation, forms, notifications, and core product flows.
- Creating audience-specific content for patients, healthcare advocates, physicians, and other professionals.
- Collaborating with Product Design, Product Management, and Engineering throughout the product development process.
- Developing content strategies and messaging for new features.
- Maintaining and evolving product voice, terminology, and writing guidelines.
- Participating in design reviews, user research, and cross-functional product discussions.
- Continuously refining product content based on user feedback and iteration.
- Exploring how AI-powered writing tools can enhance content creation while maintaining a human-centered experience.
What they're looking for
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4–6 years of experience writing content for digital products or complex user experiences.
- Strong UX writing and content design expertise.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Experience working on distributed Agile product teams.
- The ability to simplify complex information into accessible, user-friendly language.
- Strong collaboration skills across design, product, and engineering teams.
- Interest in using AI tools to improve writing workflows.
- A growth mindset with a willingness to learn through feedback.
- High attention to detail and strong empathy for users.
- A portfolio showcasing UX writing or product content work.
