What you’ll do
- Visual Playbook: Create, maintain, and evolve our Visual Playbook—covering structure, patterns, and versioning—aligned with product strategy and brand identity.
- Product Experience: Shape the visual storytelling layer across onboarding, paywalls, progress flows, and program experiences, defining look & feel, type hierarchy, imagery, and motion intent.
- Localization: Adapt visuals for different markets with cultural sensitivity and accessibility in mind.
- Brand-Safe Innovation: Test and refine visual hypotheses (A/B, multivariate) to improve conversion and retention, codifying results into scalable standards.
- Design Systems & Assets: Extend the product design system with reusable assets, components, and variants; deliver export-ready visuals for product and marketing needs.
- Motion & Interaction: Collaborate with motion designers on animations, Lottie assets, and interactions that enhance user journeys.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams and freelancers, writing clear briefs and ensuring deliverables meet quality and Playbook standards.
- AI-Assisted Design: Use approved AI tools (Midjourney, Firefly, Stable Diffusion, GPT, etc.) for exploration and batch production while ensuring outputs align with brand standards.
About you
- Strong portfolio showcasing mobile product visuals and storytelling (onboarding, paywalls, flows, program experiences).
- Experience creating or contributing to visual playbooks, design systems, or component libraries.
- Skilled in translating brand guidelines into scalable product visuals.
- Proficient in Figma (auto-layout, variants, structured libraries) and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Familiar with localization, accessibility, and cross-platform adaptation.
- Comfortable working with motion principles and collaborating with production teams.
- Strong organizational skills (Figma hygiene, asset libraries, developer-ready specs).
- Clear communicator who can collaborate across teams and manage freelancers.
Nice to have
- Basic video direction (moodboards, briefs, set look & feel).
- Experience with AI design tools (Midjourney, Firefly, Stable Diffusion).
- Familiarity with Lottie.
