Vercel is looking for an experienced Visual Designer to join its Website Design Engineering team. You'll help shape the visual experience across vercel.com, nextjs.org, product launches, and other high-impact digital experiences used by millions of developers worldwide.
Working alongside Design Engineers, you'll create polished web experiences, memorable launch campaigns, motion graphics, illustrations, and brand experiences that define how Vercel presents itself across digital and physical channels. While familiarity with front-end technologies is a bonus, this is primarily a visual design role, where creativity and exceptional design craft are the top priorities.
The position is available fully remote or hybrid from Vercel's offices in San Francisco, New York, London, or Berlin.
What You'll Do
- Design high-quality landing pages, product launches, and marketing experiences for Vercel's web platforms.
- Define and evolve the visual language across key digital touchpoints.
- Create engaging visual concepts including motion, illustration, event graphics, and brand campaigns.
- Partner closely with Design Engineers to bring ideas from concept to production.
- Contribute to scalable design systems and visual patterns.
- Maintain exceptional attention to typography, layout, motion, and interaction design.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver consistent and memorable brand experiences.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in visual or digital design.
- Outstanding portfolio demonstrating exceptional web design craftsmanship.
- Experience working across branding, web, motion, illustration, or 3D.
- Strong understanding of design systems and scalable visual patterns.
- Comfortable collaborating with engineers and understanding web production workflows.
- Experience designing for technology, SaaS, or developer-focused products is a plus.
- Familiarity with Vercel is preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with React, Next.js or Tailwind CSS.
- Previous contributions to large-scale design systems.
