Mindrift is looking for experienced Web Scraping Experts to contribute to AI-focused freelance projects. In this role, you'll build data extraction workflows, process large datasets, and help improve AI systems by delivering accurate, structured information.
Working as part of Mindrift's AI platform, you'll combine your technical expertise with AI-assisted tools to support real-world machine learning projects while enjoying the flexibility of remote, project-based work.
Note: This is a freelance, project-based opportunity, not a traditional full-time position. Work availability, project duration, and earnings may vary depending on project demand and successful qualification.
What You'll Do
- Build reliable web scraping workflows for complex websites.
- Extract structured data from static and dynamic web pages.
- Work with JavaScript-rendered content, APIs, and multi-level websites.
- Clean, validate, and organize datasets for AI training projects.
- Use tools such as Apify, OpenRouter, Python, and your own automation workflows.
- Monitor scraping performance and resolve extraction issues.
- Deliver high-quality datasets following project specifications.
- Collaborate with AI-assisted workflows while maintaining human quality control.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with Python web scraping using BeautifulSoup, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of data extraction, parsing, and data validation.
- Experience processing structured datasets in CSV, JSON, or Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with APIs, JavaScript-rendered websites, and automation techniques.
- Experience with LLMs or AI-assisted workflows is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- English proficiency (B2 or higher).
Nice to Have
- Background in Data Engineering, Software Development, or AI Automation.
- Experience with large-scale scraping projects.
- Knowledge of AI frameworks and workflow automation.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience optimizing scraping performance and handling changing website structures.
