Website Designer

Xapo is looking for a Senior Website Designer to help shape an exceptional web experience that reflects their mission: to grow and protect customers' wealth through innovative Bitcoin and USD financial tools.

As the second major touchpoint for most new users (after organic search or marketing campaigns), the website plays a vital role in communicating the brand’s purpose and features—from earning yield on BTC, to using a card for spending BTC or USD, to low-fee exchange access.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design full web pages, content blocks, and UI components from wireframes to polished visuals
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to craft engaging, story-driven layouts
• Contribute to site architecture and content planning—thinking through both visuals and structure
• Make strategic use of imagery, typography, motion, and layout to enhance user understanding
• Build interactive prototypes and validate ideas early
• Develop scalable, reusable design components for the site’s evolving library
• Take ownership of the website’s visual direction and help define future design and feature roadmaps
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders—PMs, engineers, marketers, and leadership—to align on design decisions
• Partner closely with engineers to bring designs to life with high fidelity
• Translate abstract ideas into effective visual experiences

What You’ll Need

• Strong experience in visual design, with a portfolio showcasing high-quality web interfaces
• Expertise in motion design and visual storytelling—you know when and how to add motion for delight and clarity
• A good grasp of brand design, with the ability to turn brand guidelines into powerful web visuals
• An eye for photography and video, with the ability to make quick edits or extend existing media when needed
• A strong sense of what makes great content and UX copy—you don’t write it, but you design with it in mind
• Great communication and collaboration skills—you’re proactive and structured
• Bonus: experience with no-code tools like Webflow or Framer, or technical know-how of how websites are built
