Key Responsibilities:
- Recreate existing WordPress front-end designs in Figma, even when original source files are not available.
- Design WordPress blocks as Figma components to ensure that designs are easy to implement and maintainable.
- Collaborate with the Account Management team through iterative feedback loops to refine and improve designs.
- Maintain a user-centric approach, ensuring all designs are visually engaging, intuitive, and meet client expectations.
- Adapt designs quickly based on client feedback or evolving requirements.
- Communicate clearly and reliably within a remote, deadline-driven environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in UI/UX design for WordPress-based websites.
- Expertise in Figma, with a focus on creating robust design systems and components.
- Strong understanding of the WordPress block system and how to structure designs for block-based editing.
- Ability to recreate websites based on existing WordPress front-end designs without access to the original design files.
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Familiarity with responsive design best practices and overall user experience strategies.
- Available to work part-time on a contract basis, depending on new project needs.
Compensation & Next Steps:
- Compensation is project-based.
- As part of the next step in the process, you'll be asked to provide estimates for some upcoming projects, allowing us to assess your expertise and design style.
- Please submit relevant Figma examples and WordPress-related design projects for consideration.
Note: This position is open to individual applicants only. No agencies or recruiters will be considered, and attempts to contact hiring managers directly outside of this platform will result in disqualification.
If you're a collaborative designer with a passion for creating polished, user-friendly WordPress designs and enjoy clear communication in a remote setting, we look forward to reviewing your portfolio.
